AoPPW Continuous Prayer Points

7 of the things scriptures teach Christian to remember in prayer on a regular basis.

  1. Prayer point: Unity of His people. - John 17:21

Joh 17:20  Neither for these alone do I pray [ it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
Joh 17:21  That they all may be one, [ just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.

  2. Prayer Point: All people especially government and all authorities. 1 Tim 2:1-3

1Ti 2:1  FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
1Ti 2:2  For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly ] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [ and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
1Ti 2:3  For such [ praying ] is good and right, and [ it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,

  3. Prayer Point:  Families & marriages - Ps 68:6;

Psa 68:5  A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His holy habitation.
Psa 68:6  God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

  4. Prayer Point: financial provisions.

Php 4:19  And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
    ***
Deu 8:16  Who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end.
Deu 8:17  And beware lest you say in your [ mind and ] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.
Deu 8:18  But you shall [ earnestly ] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

  5. Prayer Point: Laborers into the Harvest. Ministries.  salvation of the lost. Matt. 9:38
Mat 9:36  When He saw the throngs, He was moved with pity and sympathy for them, because they were bewildered (harassed and distressed and dejected and helpless), like sheep without a shepherd. [Zech. 10:2. ]
Mat 9:37  Then He said to His disciples, The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.
Mat 9:38  So pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.

  6. Prayer Point: Forgiveness of others including even our enemies Luke 6:28
Luk 6:27  But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [ in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you and pursue you with hatred,
Luk 6:28  Invoke blessings upon and pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God's blessing (favor) upon those who abuse you [ who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you].

  7. Prayer Point: Miracles & Revival. Acts 4:30
Act 4:29  And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [ full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly,
Act 4:30  While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.
Act 4:31  And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
